presenting life in a beautiful light... the essence of Scott Tasker Photography can be summed up in those six words. Beauty is all around us, all we have to do is pay attention. Scott focuses on finding the emotion, character, and personality in each scene he photographs. The result is an image with lasting quality. The viewer actually becomes involved in the scene rather than just being an observer.

The three distinct career avenues his life has followed have heavily influenced Scott's photography style. Beginning in 1988 Scott attended the University of Georgia with plans on achieving a degree in landscape architecture. However, three years into the program, Scott's desire to learn more about the built environment led to moving to Atlanta and earning a BA in Architecture from Southern Polytechnic State University.

Concurrent with his schooling, Scott, a third degree black belt in the American Taekwondo Association and a certified instructor, taught children the art of taekwondo for 10 years. The three passions, nature, architecture, and kids, are now the three specialty areas for Scott Tasker Photography.

What began as a hobby to document processes and design elements in the landscape and architecture industries actually became the passion and eventually led to a full time career in photography. Concentrating on the photography exclusively since 2005, Scott Tasker Photography has pursued clients in the three fields of his expertise and currently enjoys shooting the three subjects both commercially and artistically for fine art purchases.
